Circle of Fifths presents The Dream, a one hour live multimedia production takes the audience on a thrilling, disorientating multi-sensory journey through a dream, grappling with existence, grief and love. Our dream world processes our existential meaning, but how do our dreams relate to our reality and who we are as people? What can you tell about someone just from their dreams?

Writer and Director
Shona Jaunas is an interdisciplinary artist working within theatre, music and film. She has worked in a range of styles, full white mask, cartoonesque, Comedia Del’Arte style work, Rude Mechanical Theatre Company, site specific dance/theatre work, The Body Cartography Project and devised theatre TNT Theatre, Blow Up Theatre Company.
Collaborations include The Crimson Club (Thursday Mornings), Gareth Farr (Drum Drag), Jackie Clarke (NZ International Festival of the Arts and National Radio), Jeff Henderson (Sound Explorers) and the Body Cartography Company (Chaffer’s Marina).
As a producer she has successfully managed and delivered the Greenpeace Field Glastonbury Festival 2005, Frank Zalot: a Survivors Tale, a short documentary for Ministry of Culture and History, Paekakariki Stories, film of a selection of stories gathered in 2012 from WW2 survivors, The Bullying Project, a film based project funded through Ministry of Social Development and Ministry of Education. The Elephant in the Living Room, funded by Creative Communities, Kapiti Coast District Council, the Police and ALAC, The Nuturing Hand Art Project developed with Kapiti Voices Against Violence, Ministry of Social Development and Police and The Elephant in the Living Room a published collection of short stories collated through the community.
