THE WHAT?
Established in 2018, the Six Degrees Festival, 2024, is supported by Victoria University of Wellington and provides pathways for students from the Master of Fine Art's (Creative Practice) in Theatre to become professional theatre makers. In January and February 2024, 11 Masters students will present 7 shows in celebration of their achievements and a years’ worth of learning in the MFA programme.
THE HOW?
The MFA in Creative Practice hones leadership, collaborative, creative, and business skills over an intensive 12-month programme. It is an industry-focused, practical degree that focuses on enhancing the skills needed to be a practising artist as well as encouraging new contacts and networks in Wellington’s creative industries. The MFA students receive internal funding to make their projects a reality.
